Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 June 2026
Applies to: NULLSET on Google Play and the Apple App Store
NULLSET is a single-player game with no accounts and no sign-in. Your progress and settings are saved locally on your device.
The free version shows occasional full-screen ads supplied by Google AdMob, which uses a device advertising identifier and limited technical data to serve them. A one-time in-app purchase — the Operator's License — removes all ads. Apart from ads and that optional purchase, the game collects nothing and sends nothing to us.
01 WHO WE ARE
NULLSET is developed and published by Mondro Consulting (“we,” “us,” “our”), responsible for this app and this policy. You can reach us using the contact details at the end of this page.
02 SCOPE OF THIS POLICY
This policy covers the current release of NULLSET — a single-player game offered free with advertising, plus an optional one-time purchase that removes the ads. It explains what information the game and its advertising partner do and do not handle, and the choices you have. It does not cover any third-party website, service, or store, each of which operates under its own policy.
03 ADVERTISING
The free version of NULLSET displays interstitial (full-screen) ads through Google AdMob, Google's mobile advertising service. Ads appear only at natural breaks — for example, after a contract when you return to the hub — and never interrupt active play.
To select and deliver ads, Google AdMob may collect and process:
- A device advertising identifier (such as the Android Advertising ID or Apple's identifier), which you can reset or limit in your device settings.
- Technical and usage data — including device model and operating system, coarse (non-precise) location inferred from your IP address, the IP address itself, and basic interactions with the ad.
This information is collected and used by Google as an independent controller under its own policies. See Google's overview of how it uses data from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and its advertising technologies at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
04 IN-APP PURCHASES
NULLSET offers a single optional purchase, the Operator's License, which permanently removes ads. It is a one-time purchase — there is no subscription and no other purchasable content.
Payment is handled entirely by the app store (Google Play or the Apple App Store). The store processes your payment; NULLSET never receives or stores your payment details. Your purchase is associated with your store account so it can be restored on your devices using the “Restore purchase” option. To recognise that the License is active, the game stores a simple flag in its local save; this flag contains no personal or payment information.
05 INFORMATION THE GAME DOES NOT COLLECT
Aside from the advertising described in Section 3, the game itself does not collect, request, or transmit:
- Personal information — no name, email address, phone number, or mailing address.
- Accounts or logins — the game has no sign-up, sign-in, or user profiles.
- Analytics or behavioural tracking by us — we operate no analytics or telemetry of our own inside the game.
- Precise location — the game does not request GPS or precise location (AdMob may infer coarse location from IP, as noted above).
- Contacts, photos, microphone, or camera — the game does not access these or any similar device data.
- Payment information — purchases are handled by the store, not by us.
06 INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
So you can pick up where you left off, NULLSET saves a small amount of data locally on your device only. This includes:
- Game progress — funds, your rig and tool levels, standing and NG+ tier, story and contract progress, and endgame stats such as the Deep and the Well.
- Preferences — audio, music, and volume settings, and whether the Operator's License (ad-free) is active.
- An anonymous device identifier — a random code described in the next section.
This data is held in your device's standard local app storage. It is never transmitted off your device by the game and is not readable by us.
07 THE ANONYMOUS DEVICE IDENTIFIER
NULLSET generates a single random, anonymous identifier the first time it saves, using your device's secure random generator. It exists only so that potential future features (such as optional leaderboards) could recognise long-time players. It is separate from the advertising identifier used by AdMob.
This identifier contains no personal information, is not linked to you, your hardware IDs, or your accounts, and is not transmitted by the current version of the game. It is stored locally alongside your save and is erased when you clear the game's data or uninstall the app.
08 NETWORK USE
Gameplay itself runs offline — all content, artwork, and audio are contained within the app, and the soundtrack is generated on your device. The app uses the network only to contact Google's advertising service to display ads and to contact the app store's billing service if you make or restore the optional purchase. With the Operator's License active, the ad requests stop.
Separately, if you obtained NULLSET through an app store, that store may record standard download, installation, and crash information under its own privacy policy.
09 APP STORES & THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
NULLSET relies on the following third parties, each governed by its own policy:
- Google AdMob (advertising) — policies.google.com/privacy
- Google Play (distribution & billing, Android) — policies.google.com/privacy
- Apple App Store (distribution & billing, iOS) — apple.com/legal/privacy
The advertising software development kit (SDK) used is Google's Mobile Ads SDK. We integrate no separate third-party analytics SDK.
10 CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
NULLSET has a stylized hacking theme and is directed at teen and adult audiences, not at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). It is not designed for or marketed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app serves ads, it is not enrolled in child-directed advertising programs. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.
11 YOUR CHOICES & CONTROL
You have control over both your local data and the advertising you see:
- Remove ads entirely by purchasing the Operator's License inside the app.
- Reset or limit ad personalization by resetting your device's advertising identifier in your system settings, and — in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland — through the in-app consent choices.
- Reset your progress by starting a New Game inside the app, which overwrites the existing save.
- Erase all stored data by clearing the app's data and cache in your device settings, or by uninstalling the app, which deletes all locally stored data including the anonymous identifier.
12 DATA SECURITY
NULLSET keeps your save on your device and operates no server, account, or database of its own for an outside party to breach. Your save is protected by your device's own operating-system protections for app data. Advertising and payment data are handled by Google and the app stores on their own secured infrastructure.
13 INTERNATIONAL USERS & DATA LOCATION
NULLSET can be played anywhere. The game stores its own data only on your device. Any data collected for advertising or payments is processed by Google or the app stores, who may process it internationally under their own policies and safeguards.
14 YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, privacy laws — such as Quebec's Law 25 and Canada's PIPEDA, the EU/UK GDPR, and various U.S. state laws — give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal information held about you. Because NULLSET itself holds no personal information about you on our systems, there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct, or delete on our end; you can remove all locally stored data yourself as described in Section 11. For data processed by Google (advertising) or the app stores (payments), please exercise your rights through those providers under their policies. If you have any question about your rights in relation to this app, contact us and we will help.
15 CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy as the app evolves — for example, if a future version adds optional online features such as leaderboards. When we make a material change, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and post the new version here before the change takes effect. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
